Responsibilities

• Define the mission and formulate strategies and policies for the Finance, Information Technology and Legal functions to create an effective and compliant environment which supports the corporate objectives of the organisation.
• As a CFO of the organisation, lead the overall Finance function including financial planning and analysis, management reporting as well as compliance and corporate governance; provide useful and timely financial information, analysis, insights and advices as a strategic business partner to Management and business leaders to facilitate business decisions and optimising allocation of funding and resources amongst business initiatives.
• Set strategic direction and spearhead the deliverables of quality IT and Legal services to the whole organisation.
• Provide secretariat support to the Board of HKTB to ensure it functions in accordance with relevant regulations and policies.

Requirements

• University graduate preferably with professional qualification of CPA or equivalent. Over 15 years of relevant experience, of which at least 3 years at head of department level.
• Sound commercial acumen with strong competencies and expert knowledge and experience in finance in a multi-national organisation. Candidates with financial management or audit / compliance experience from subvented organisations would also be considered.
• Experience in driving large-scale IT projects and solid understanding of advance technology and concepts an advantage.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills; able to influence others, internally and externally, for positive results.
• Highly organised with superior planning and execution skills
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, for effective communication from Board members to all levels of management and staff.
• Strong sense of integrity and corporate governance.
