Manager, Brand Marketing (Integrated Planning)

Responsibilities

  • To plan, develop and implement global rollout of the Destination Brand and Marketing Plan, from brand strategy, media planning, social strategy to all executions
  • Provide strategic direction to promote destination experiences and mega events.
  • Own and drive development and delivery of brand and mega events communications toolkit including TV, print, digital, outdoor, merchandise, point of sales materials etc.
  • Drive integration of marketing plans by coordinating and consolidating input from other marketing functions.
  • Effectively monitor and control the quality of responsible marketing and communications activities and ensure that they are well implemented, in accordance with the agreed brand strategy and guidelines.
  • Manage both internal and external stakeholders to inform the development of marketing plan and communications materials.
  • Brief and drive advertising and media agencies to deliver quality creative, production and effective communications plan. 
  • Act as focal point for designated overseas offices - provide guidance to designated long or short haul market(s) on the brand building activities, and make sure all the executions are aligned with the approved brand strategy.
  • Explore new initiatives / cooperative platform and supervise the implementation of global / regional marketing and brand building campaigns.
  • Manage an effective communication process between advertising / media agency and overseas offices to ensure an optimal efficiency, creativity and flexibility.
  • Deliver activities within given budget. Prepare the yearly budget exercise and provide tracking reports.
  • Manage and comply to company procurement and legal procedures.
  • Responsible to coach subordinates to deliver quality work and help building the team spirit. 

 

Requirements

  • University degree holder with a minimum 10 years working experience in marketing, communications or related fields.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; with high emotional maturity to be able to convince, influence and work collaboratively with all levels – peers and senior managers.
  • Solid experience in Digital and Social marketing.
  • Highly efficient in organizational multi-tasking and project management skills. 
  • Experience in global/regional brand management and on destination or tourism-related marketing is a distinct advantage.
  • Able to work independently, highly resourceful and maintains grace under pressure.
